We started Huggybear Creations back in 2004, tentatively venturing into the market. Our first job was 50 caps for a local car dealership and we were really excited.
Well, the excitement hasn't diminished and we approach every job, big or small, with total enthusiasm.
Most of the big embroidery is done by Rowland, he approaches the task in true mechanical style, complete with toolbelt attatched to the machine stand.
Over the years we've built up a small circle of regulars, the companies who order staff apparel every 18 months or so, this includes conti suits, T and Golf shirts. Regular shirts, jackets, rainsuits and so on. A well kitted out staff complement does wonders for a business, showing attention to more than just the job at hand.
I call it "The Painless Tattoo" have your say on your clothes, bags, car seats, anywhere you want to shout out your feelings without that pesky skin piercing.
We don't put children's names onto their clothing or caps unless in a sporting context.
If we feel that embroidery may not be the best enhancement for your garment, we'll happily have it screen printed and we don't hesitate to provide the full service for your company, embroidery, screen printing, even labels for hardhats.
Rowland and Louise take their "Corporate" responsibility seriously. We're not big enough to make bold gestures like painting a township or feeding the multitudes but we do believe that as we have the privilege of a very good life so we should share with those less fortunate whether it's with our time or product.
From embroidery design and placement to the finished product we work as quickly as possible, no one wants to get all fired up with enthusiasm for a project only to have lost interest by the time the goods are delivered.
